About the NLRC

The National Lionhead Club (NLRC) is an official organisation within the British Rabbit Council (BRC) for all Lionhead rabbits enthusiasts within the UK. Its prime objective is to encourage the keeping, breeding, exhibiting and development of the Lionhead Rabbit throughout the United Kingdom. It aims to bring all passionate Lionhead breeders together in an attempt to further improve the breed and its significance with the showing circle.

We hold a minimum of three stock shows a year in various locations throughout the country. Here we offer Diplomas (Dips), Certificates of Merit (COMs), Challenge Certificates (CCs) and a Best of Breed (BOB). All CC winners are also awarded with a club rosette. They provide great opportunities to meet other breeders, pick up new stock and discuss the development of breed. All breeders are encouraged to compete.
