Stock Shows
There are three annual stock shows held by the club every year which we try and rotate around the south, midlands, and north, plus special shows.
All stock shows run the same classes. These are;
REW, BEW, Black, Blue, Chocolate, Agouti, Cinnamon, Sooty Fawn/ Seal point, Orange/Fawn, AOC
Each colour class is separated into Adults and Under 5 Months. Bucks and Does are first judged together, then separately in gender classes. There are separate challenges for Adults, Under 5s and Under 14 weeks, before an overall Best In Show is decided in the Grand Challenge. There is also a Junior Class for young exhibitors.
There will be a Veteran Class for exhibits over 5 years old, and a Team Class. This will involve mixed-gender trios of the same colour rabbits (eg two black does and a black buck) being point judged as a team, with 1st place going to the team with the highest total points.
NEW FOR 2020
Where possible we will also be adding a pet class to our schedule -entry is open to anyone with a pet Lionhead (you do not need to be a member) Entry is £2 per Pet Lionhead - the best pet will win a rosette with prize cards down to 5th place.
Members Points are collected at each show and collated annually, with a trophy awarded to the member with the most points for that year.
